Here's a guide to buying Modafinil online: how to use it, side effects, precautions, and legal stuff

People with narcolepsy usually take Modafinil, which is sold under the brand name Provigil. Modafinil is a drug that helps people stay awake. Some people with sleep apnea and shift work sleep disorders can also use Modafinil to stay awake. You swallow it. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) rules say people over 17 can’t take Modafinil.

You might still feel sleepy after taking this medicine, but it won’t fix these sleep problems. Getting enough sleep is still essential, even with Modafinil. No one who doesn’t have a sleep problem should take it to feel less tired or put off going to sleep.

How Provigil keeps you awake is a secret. Chemicals in the brain that drive the sleep-wake cycle are thought to be the cause.

How to use Modafinil Online in Canada

Before you start taking Provigil, read the Medication Guide your pharmacy gives you every time you get a replacement. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you need help.

Take this medicine by mouth for narcolepsy with or without food, as your doctor tells you, usually once a day in the morning. If your doctor tells you to, you can split your daily dose of Provigil into two doses, one in the morning and one at noon.

If you have obstructive sleep apnea, take this medicine by mouth once daily in the morning, with or without food, as your doctor recommends. Your doctor may tell you to stop using the CPAP machine or breathing device, but you should keep using them until they ask you to stop.

For shift work sleep disorder, take Modafinil by mouth as your doctor recommends, generally, once a day an hour before your shift starts. You can take it with or without food.

The dose is based on your health and how well you respond to treatment. To get the most out of this medicine, take it as directed.

Suppose you stop taking this medicine all of a sudden. In that case, you might experience withdrawal signs like shaking, sweating, chills, nausea, puking, and confusion. Your doctor may slowly lower your dose to help you avoid withdrawal. Getting off Provigil is more likely if you’ve used it for a long time or in large amounts. Get help right away from your doctor or nurse if you are going through withdrawal.

If you take this medicine for a long time, it might also not work. If it stops working, talk to your doctor.

This medicine may sometimes lead to abuse, even though it helps many people. If you have a substance use problem, like abusing drugs or alcohol too much, this chance may be higher. Follow the directions on this medicine carefully to lower the risk of becoming addicted. Talk to your doctor or chemist to find out more.
